The Ministry of Civil Aviation has allowed domestic flights to operate with 100 per cent capacity from October 18, amid a drop in the number of coronavirus cases. The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has issued a directive in this regard on Tuesday.

In which it has been said that from October 18, all domestic flights will be operated with 100 percent capacity. Till now domestic flights were being operated with 85 per cent capacity.

In the third week of last month, the Ministry of Civil Aviation issued a circular allowing domestic flights to operate with 85 per cent capacity.

Earlier this capacity was 72.5 per cent. Let us tell you that on 25 May 2020, after a complete ban on flying in the Corona lockdown last year, the government had given permission to fly with a capacity of 33 percent. After this it was increased to 80 percent in December 2020.

Meanwhile, in April and May this year, amid the second wave of corona virus, the government reduced the passenger capacity on domestic flights to 50 percent.

After this, after the fall in the cases of corona virus, the capacity of passengers is being gradually increased and now it has been made 100 percent. However, the Corona-19 protocol will have to be taken care of during the flights.

Indian Railway news: Now IRCTC will book bus tickets across the country, know the whole process

IRCTC will now book bus tickets after train, flight. After a long trial, it has been fully started from Monday. No additional charges will be charged for booking bus tickets from IRCTC.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, a subsidiary of Indian Railways, will now also book bus tickets in the country. Passengers can easily book for any city through IRCTC’s Rail Connect app. For this, no extra charge will be taken from the passenger.

Although this service was started long ago as a trial, but after the trial was successful on Monday, it has been started completely.

Till now IRCTC connected with 50,000 bus operators IRCTC was booking only train and flight tickets across the country , but last mile connectivity will also be given to the passenger.

If you understand in simple words, after the flight and train, if the passenger was going by bus, then IRCTC will also provide the booking facility of bus ticket to him. For this, about 50,000 bus operators across the country have been associated with IRCTC, which will take passengers to their destinations in 22 states and 3 union territories.

No additional fee will be charged from the passengers.

Bus operators include private operated and state government buses. According to IRCTC, the trial of the new facility was started several months back. During the trial, about 2000 to 2500 passengers are booking bus tickets daily through the IRCTC Rail Connect app. After the successful trial, IRCTC has fully launched it on Monday. In this, no additional fee will be charged from the passengers.

According to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Railways, a fine of Rs 500 will have to be paid if the mask is not applied while traveling in the train or at the railway station. Railways has extended this guideline till April 16 next year.

Let us tell you that a fine of Rs 500 was implemented by the Railways from April 17, 2021, which was for 6 months. This has been extended by another 6 months till 16 April 2022. In this regard, the Railway Ministry has given instructions to the General Managers of all the zones.

In view of the corona from the railway side, the sheets and blankets given in the AC bogie were also stopped. Along with this, food is no longer provided during the journey in premium trains like Rajdhani. These steps were taken by the Railways to prevent the spread of Corona, which is still in force.
