Indian Railways: In view of the convenience of the passengers, it has been decided to extend the period of operation of three pairs of festival special trains. Due to the demand of the passengers, the service of these three pairs of festive special trains will continue. This will give great convenience to the commuters. These trains are operating between Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
New Delhi. In view of the convenience of the passengers, the Railways has decided to extend the operating service period of 3 pairs of festival special trains . Due to the demand of the passengers, the service of these three pairs of festive special trains will continue. This will give great convenience to the commuters. These trains are operating between Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the extension of the festive trains by the Railways will enable lakhs of people to travel to their homes during the festive season. According to Lieutenant Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, due to passenger pressure and convenience, out of three pairs of festive special trains, two pairs of trains will be operated twice a week and one pair of trains will be operated daily. The trains which are being extended the duration mainly include the following trains:-
1. The operating period of Train No. 09611/09612, Ajmer-Amritsar-Ajmer Bi-Weekly Special is being extended from Ajmer till 27th November, 2021 and from Amritsar till 30th June, 2022.
2. The operating period of Train No. 09613/09614, Ajmer-Amritsar-Ajmer bi-weekly special is being extended from Ajmer to 29th June and from Amritsar till 28th November, 2021.
3. The operating period of Train No. 09717/09718, Jaipur-Daulatpur Chowk-Jaipur Pratinidhi Special is being extended from Jaipur till 30th June, 2022 and from Daulatpur Chowk till 01st July, 2022.
