The Chenab Bridge will strengthen the railway network in the Jammu and Kashmir region and will play an important role in the development of the state. With the construction of this bridge, the valley will be connected with train services, which will give a boost to business and other economic activities in this area. This bridge is being built over the Chenab River.

The railway remained a cable rail bridge in difficult circumstances

The land of the mountains present in the place where the Chenab Bridge is being built is quite raw. The work is being done to make the bridge between the rocks very rough and difficult. A high pillar is being built for this bridge being built on the cable, on which the cable will be tied on both sides.

This bridge will be 331 meters high

The Chenab Bridge will also be 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The cost of this 1315 meter long bridge has come to Rs 1250 crore. This bridge is being seen as an engineering feat. Both sides of the bridge arch have been connected. It is being told that minus 20 degree Celsius temperature will also have no effect on this bridge. The bridge can also withstand winds of more than 250 kilometers per hour.
