IRCTC Package : Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a new package for Sikhs – Guru Kripa Yatra, which includes travel to major cities that have major Gurdwaras. The journey under this seven-day package will start from April 9. According to IRCTC, bookings for the package are currently open. If you have to travel to Gurudwaras and serve there, then this package is fantastic. Moreover, due to the children’s holidays at this time, it is necessary to go on this trip.

This package is of 6 nights and 7 days, in which the special train will start from Amritsar to Nanded, Bidar, Patna and from there back to Amritsar. Boarding points on this train are also given at other cities – Amritsar, Beas, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, New Morinda, Chandigarh, Kurukshetra and Safdarjung Delhi.

IRCTC will take you to which gurudwaras

The first train under this package will reach Nanded, where you can visit Gurudwara Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib. After that the next stop is Bidar, where you can visit Gurudwara Sri Guru Nanak Jeera Sahib. Next stop would be Patna, where you can visit Gurudwara Harmandirji Sahib.

IRCTC will take care of all the transportation for you during this journey. Pantry facility has been provided in this train, so that no one has any problem all the way.

Train time table

Day 1 – (on 9 April 2023)

The train will leave for Huzur Sahib Nanded at 11 pm from Amritsar. During this, food will be arranged for all the passengers boarding the train.

Day 2 (on 10 April)

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the train itself. It is an overnight journey with very few stops.

Day 3 (on April 11)

The train will reach Huzur Sahib Nanded at 05:00. All your luggage will be dropped here in an IRCTC bus and after breakfast you can spend the whole day at the Gurudwara and attend prayer meetings. Arrangements will be made for lunch and dinner at the identified places. Passengers will have to come back to the railway station at 21:30 i.e. at 9:30 pm as the train will leave for Bidar at 10 pm.

Fourth day (on 12 April)

Your train will reach Bidar at 5 am where you will be made all arrangements to get ready in the morning. After breakfast proceed to Gurdwara Guru Nanak Zira Sahib and from there you will have to return by 2 PM as the train will leave for Patna at 14:30 immediately after lunch. Dinner will be provided in the train itself.

Day 5 (on 13 April)

On the fifth day you will spend all your time on the train

6th day (on 14th April)

The train will reach Patna Junction at 5 am. All your luggage will be dropped here in an IRCTC bus and after breakfast you can spend the whole day at the Gurudwara and attend prayer meetings. Arrangements will be made for lunch and dinner at the identified places. Passengers will have to come back to the railway station by 22:00 i.e. 10 pm as the train will leave for Lucknow at 11 pm. Dinner will be provided in the train itself.

Seventh Day (on 15th April)

On the seventh day morning breakfast will be provided to you in the train itself. The train will reach New Delhi Railway Station at 3:30 am. From here you will have to change the train and board the Amritsar/Chandigarh Shatabdi Express. If someone has to go to another station, then arrangements will also be made by IRCTC.
