go to the IRCTC app or website and click on the verification window.
Here you have to enter your registered mobile number and e-mail id.
After entering both the information, click on the Verify button.
After clicking on Verify, OTP will come on your mobile, enter it and verify the mobile number.
Similarly, after entering the code on the e-mail id, your mail id will be verified.
Now you can book tickets online for any train from your account.

24 tickets can be booked on one account
The other big news for railway passengers is that the railway has increased the limit of booking maximum tickets in a month from 12 to 24 on one user ID of IRCTC. Yes, now you can book 24 tickets in a month with Aadhaar linked user ID. Earlier this number was 12. Similarly, 12 tickets can be booked instead of 6 from the account from which Aadhaar is not linked.
