Today 145 trains have been completely canceled. At the same time, 28 trains have been partially cancelled. Railways has rescheduled 14 trains and 15 trains have been diverted. Due to the cancellation of such a number of trains, a large number of passengers across the country may have to face problems. Therefore, passengers must check the status of their train before leaving home.

Ticket money is available back    
If the train is canceled then the passengers can get the ticket money back. Ticket refunds are done automatically to the passengers who have booked e-tickets from IRCTC website. In case of train cancellation, the refund will be credited to the customer’s bank account/credit card/e-wallet from which the ticket has been paid. Tickets purchased from the reservation counter can be canceled up to 72 hours after the scheduled departure of the train at the computerized reservation counter. If the passenger cancels the ticket on his own, IRCTC deducts some cancellation charges from the refund.
